Update Details: New example risk assessments for Paving Operations, Mental Health and the use of a CNC Lathe.
The vibration risk assessment was also reviewed and updated while new forms and procedure relating to vibrating equipment were being prepared and updated.
New Risk Assessments;
- Paving Operations - there's some fairly high risk activities here from falling of stacked materials (heavy!) to cutting of blocks which produces hazardous dust and makes use of abrasive wheels (scary!)
- Mental Health - this example risk assessment considers the main issues which can impact on mental health at work; Unclear job role / responsibilities, Working Patterns
The physical working environment, Lack of communication or feedback, Toxic work atmosphere - CNC Lathe - there's some fairly substantial risks here with high speed moving parts and the potential for particles to be pinged about the shop and also lower level but still significant risks like from the cutting fluids
