Update Details: The ISO 37001:2016 Anti-bribery management standard has been updated and is now ISO 37001:2025 and we've updated various files and associated toolkits in response to this update.
The main changes to the standard - there was nothing too significant that changed with the updated standard; the Anti-bribery Compliance Function (ABCF) was renamed as the Anti-bribery Function (ABF), any changes to the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) now must be completed in a planned manner (bringing this standard in line with other Annex-SL management system standards) and some other minor wording changes.
In short not much changed at all but the wording changes have had an impact on a number of documents with the following files updates being made to comply with this updated version of the standard;
- P-10 Anti-bribery Policy - updated to reference new standard
- A-C-IMS1-ABMS & A-C_Management-System-ABMS - added climate change question
- I-C-IMS-Implementation-Checklist-ABMS & I-C-IMS-Implementation-Checklist-IMS1-ABMS - ref to ABCF changed
- F-AB1 Bribery Concerns Report - updated reference to ABF
- F-IMS34 Anti-Bribery Compliance Register - updates ABF reference and added content about management responsibilities
- F-IMS35 Business Associate Register - added reference to include training for business associates
- P-1-18 Purchasing Outsourced Services - removed any reference to anti-bribery compliance function
- PP-1-19 Anti-bribery procedure - various updates to this procedure
- RA-AB1 Bribery Risk Assessment - updated reference to anti-bribery compliance function
- A-C_ISO37001-2025-Full - new checklist added
- ISO37001 Awareness Training Course - updated to reference new standard
- ER11 Audit Schedule - update to reference ISO 37001:2025 standard
- ISO 37001:2025 Correlation - new file prepared
- IMS1 Manual - updated to reference ISO 37001:2025 and references to ABCF updated
- TT-1-18 Anti-bribery-Corruption - training talk updated to remove reference to ‘compliance function’ and add report conflict of interest
- ISO37001-2025_Awareness_Cert-Template - new file prepared
