Update Details: Example COSHH Risk Assessments updated - all 83 of them!!
As the F-HS5 form was updated and improved it meant we were also obliged to update all 83 example COSHH risk assessments which make use of this form template.
Rather than just updating the files we also took the opportunity to have our H&S professional review and improve the content of each COSHH Risk Assessment.
The end result was worth all the time and work though - we think the updated COSHH Risk Assessments look much better and are easier to read and understand.
In summary the improvements were;
- Clearer display Hazard Classification and Labelling (CLP)
- Enhanced layout and details on the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required
- New field confirming inherent risk rating of every product with red formatting used to identify high risk substances
- Addition of confirmation that risk is at an acceptable level
