Update Details: New sample data files have been added to the alphaZ subscribers page
To assist with setting up key files and registers we have prepared some sample data versions of certain files including registers where there is likely to be some 'generic' content that is likely to be common to all organisations and some other content which may apply to most but may need to be reviewed and edited.
The idea of the sample data files is to turbo-charge the setup process and provide ideas for the types of things that could / should be included on key files such as risk registers. It is not intended that these files are used as they are and nothing included is mandatory - it's just a source of content and ideas for setting up your own versions of these key files and registers.
These files have been added to the newly setup Sample Data Files page.

Some of the sample data files now available are;
- ER9 Legal register - completed with comprehensive listing of UK legislation and separate listing of updated legislation. Listed legislation can be graded for relevance and filtered to list pertinent legislation
- ER14 Hazard Risk Register - important register for ISO 45001 and H&S compliance completed with a number of example key H&S risks
- ER15 Information Security Risks - overview of key information security risks and controls (or treatment plan) for ISO 27001 compliance
- F-IMS20 Document Register - simple document register with sample overview of records held and retained and signposts to key files and document folders
- F-IMS21 Business Continuity Register - example register to provide a non-confidential overview of continuity arrangements
- F-IMS22 Interested Parties Register - example register with all the obvious, generic, interested parties like Govt / Local Authority listed
- F-IMS23 Opportunities and Risks Register - example SWOT analysis and risks register with all the obvious risks like 'climate change' already added
- F-IMS24 Personal Data Register - example overview of personal data processing for a typical company which can be edited to reflect actual processes where a Record of Processing (RoPA) is required
- F-IMS26 Statement of Applicability - minimal-content version of this register for full ISO 27001 compliance without any messiness! All controls listed as applicable with signpost back to the relevant section of the IMS1 manual
- F-IMS60 Environmental Aspects Register - environmental impacts assessment register completed with some typical environmental aspects and environmental impacts
