Update Details: Example Risk Assessments updated - all 139 of them!!
As the F-HS20 form was updated and improved it meant we were also obliged to update all 139 example risk assessments which make use of this form template.
Rather than just updating the file we also took the opportunity to have our H&S professional review and improve the content of each Risk Assessment whilst also making full use of the new visual hazard, PPE and prohibited pictograms that were added to the updated F-HS20 form.
The end result was worth all the time and work though - we think the updated Risk Assessments look much better and are easier to read and understand.
In summary the improvements were;
- Addition of Hazard, PPE and Prohibited graphics where required
- New unique numbering on every control so easier to reference controls in place
- Improved formatting from the updated form
- Extended and enhanced hazard descriptions
- Extended and enhanced listing of example control measures
- Addition of confirmation that risk is at an acceptable level
